Joseph Keller

Specializing in food, lifestyle, and still life photography, Keller + Keller has built a reputation for creating consistently clean, classically beautiful images. The former husband and wife team met while in their second year at the New England School of Photography and experienced their first big break with a job for This Old House magazine: a two-day shoot for a story on building brick pathways. They continued to work full-time as a team, perfecting their style and approach to image-making, until eight years ago, when Amy made the bittersweet decision to be home everyday for their son, Ben, when he got off the bus. Joe embarked on a solo career, retaining and relishing his ability to work as part of a creative team while aiming to provide the leadership crucial for ensuring a successful shoot. He strives to create an atmosphere conducive to collaboration and creativity, the recipe for making beautiful images. At the same time, he loves working with food because it never talks back.
